I’m Ajax Dontavius.

a Haitian-American actor-artist living and working in Chicago, IL.

Ajax Dontavius born (Alex D. Joseph) was raised in Orlando, Fl by a single Mom. It took God and a village to make him who he is today, as a person and an artist. He humbly gives thanks to all who has laid the foundation for him and those who will guide him on his journey through life and towards his path of success.

Some of Ajax’s hobbies includes spending quality time with his fiancée watching movies and sharing hilarious and wholesome videos, hanging out with family and friends, keeping healthy and in shape at the gym, watching interviews of other artists he admires, and every night browsing through YouTube imagining and designing his dream home. He has learned throughout the years that what makes an actor a well-rounded artist is being a HUMAN first. As an actor, the soul is what connects you to other people, talent comes after. Ajax loves projects that are visceral, activism-driven, and thought-provoking. In his work, he practices and strives for authenticity, truth, and honesty on the stage and in-front of the camera.

Recently, Ajax had proposed to his, soon to be wife, at Welles Park on October 30th with the help of friends holding signs detailing their unique and special relationship. They are learning and creating a solid foundation for their holy marriage that will be successful and last forever.
